I just got a bank statement through and it seems i have manged to spend about £90 in 14 days on petrol, is this normal?

done a few miles, but new car so this is probably not accurate, next month will probably be a lot less...just so much fun to drive!

What does the "ships computer" say your mpg is?

(If it is above 30, then you are not enjoying it enough)

i went through £45 last week.....my little puddle jumper enjoys drinking optimax!

Optimax is a waste of cash. Gave me less mpg over 500 miles (down from 33 to 31), seemed slower to 100, and all for 7p a litre more....Bargain!

Ive not filled mine up for over a month.

But then it was in a bodyshop for two weeks, and then I was in spain for a week and now its on empty in my drive cos Im skint!

Can someone tell me how big the phase 1 16v tanks are. I was in the owners manual and haynes manual last night but could find the info.

Its just that I filled up to the click from what i thought was a near enough empty tank and only managed to get in 33 ltrs. Then when i switched on the ignition the fuel gauge only hit 3/4 tank mark.

How acurate is the fuel gauge and has anyone had any problems with having two seperate tanks.
