PH-1 to PH-2 boot release / surround

Can you fit the PH-2 boot surround (part with the release button and Renault diamond) to a PH-1?

Or are the boots slightly different? :S

Mine has the ph2 surround, afaik it was just the surround that was changed, boots otherwise the same.
