Ph Messed!

I can't comprehend why someone would knowingly fit bent wheels onto their car... the mind boggles! :S

no sympathy.

The guy said he had them on for a year so I just assumed it was alrite but i learnt from my mistake now guys. The wheels were on properly or I wouldnt have made it back

^ so how do you explain them falling off? there is only one thing that would make them fall off, the bolts not tight enough?

Surely even a bent wheel would not just fall off if the bolts were tight? even so as others have said why even fit a bent wheel or even get a bent wheel repaired? I'd have just scrapped and got a new one.

Seems like the bolts were the wrong size or not done up properly.

Did they shear off ??

If they were the wrong size they would have seemed to have tighten up but would have been an accident waiting to happen.

Unlucky tho :(

They were m8 im sure

pretty sure they wernt done up tight, had a lot more worse condition wheel and tyre on mine at alot faster speeds and distance and it just vibrated. As HAZ described to me yesterday how he "checked" your wheels by "shaking them to see if they moved" i would defently say they were secure

People, can I just clarify something. This is the wheel, with the bend highlighted. I had this wheel on my car for ages. So tell me how this is relevant to it coming off the car.

That's simply a flat spot on the rim. My spare wheel is the same. I ran it (before noticing), and it didn't fall off!

Wrong bolts/snapped bolts/incorrectly fitted wheels. Like others said, be grateful you and others weren't hurt. Next time make sure every wheel is correctly fitted.

Harsh but fair.
