Ph-quick questions??

im really thinking of getting one now?ive got a few questions tho..
Do they all have alloy bonnets and gear shift lights?
whats the most important things to look at when viewing??

Only a few have alloy bonnets and shift lights (mine has just the shift light with no alloy bonnet).

Look out for the exhaust - it will drop off after 40k miles so make sure that and the cam belt have been changed. Other than that, look for the usual wear and tear associated with a 5 year old car.

am i being stupid but how do you recognise its got an alloy bonnet?

if its got an alloy bonnet it can be lifted with your little finger!!!

ive got the shift light no alloy bonnet although ive just bought one off giles!!!

main thing to look for is wear on steering wheel, grab handles, and seats.
as said make sure its been serviced and check the general things such as bodywork etc.

there are a few for sale on here that you should look at like clarts, paul_h172 etc

Isn't it a case that a magnet won't stick to an alloy bonnet, but will to a non-alloy bonnet?

I wouldn't call a Ph1 a particularly good investment, as they value will decrease further, but it's the best combination of fun, performance and 'newness' that money can buy in my opinion.
