ph1 172 alloy bonnet

just bought a phase 1 172 in odessey blue , the bonnet is aluminium are they all the same . if not does anybody know how many were built with and how many were steel.

alloy bonnets only came on "w" reg car iirc

Luck of the draw, alot of the early ones had them.
