PH1 172 exhaust

hi there recently sold my 172 cup and purchased a ph1 172

i was wondering if the exhaust fitment are the same?? if i purchased a system that was for a ph2 would it fit my ph1 i cant see a reason why they shouldnt.

also would the manifold and cat be the same as a ph2?? reason i ask is want to change the whole system, gonna leave the standard manifold so want a decat and a cat back system that will fit perfecto

I cant remember what way it is, but one is slightly longer than the other, apart from that it will fit.

The Midsections are slightly different lengths mate, this is too compensate for the cats as one is slightly shorter than the other where it only has one lambda sensor, but it's only by a couple of inchs.

so if i put a ph2 backbox with a ph1 centre section it should fit, pretty sure its the standard system from new 11 years old, rusty as hell just waiting for it to fall off lol
