Ph1 172 Offset

Anyone any knowledge on this....

What is the standard offset on a 2000 Ph1 172? How much either side of it can i go without it looking cack?!

Offset : Clio 172 Mk1 : 43
I would say (imo only) go no lower than 38 which is 172 Cup and no higher than 48 which is Mk2 172 full fat. The 182 trophy & cup are 45.

I had 17's with ET 37 offset, looked good with no rubbing, but the ride was too hard for my old bones :S

i think the wheels hes referring to are 15's as they're mine therefore you have to bear in mind the cup/172 wheels are 16"
