Ph1 172 steering wheel

Im sure this has been posted alot on here, but i want to sort my nailed steering wheel out on my clio. Is it possible to put a ph2 steering wheel on as i quite like the look of them and would be alot easier if you can just stick one straight on, or get mine refurbished? not too familiar with using the search on here it doesnt seem to work for me, so if someone could post a link that to anything relating to this, that would be great cheers

Been searching high and low for this guide on putting a ph2 steering wheel into a ph1 but no luck? can anyone find it? if you do, could you pop the link in this thread

Where abouts did you get it done and how much did it set you back mate?

I paid £25 for a second hand vinyl one from a base spec model. It has the airbag and buttons for the horn all in the right places. The colour looks perfect against the dash, it feels much better (it's thicker) and it won't ever perish.

A guy I used to work with's brother worked for a place that did car interiors for old cars.

I gave him the wheel to pass on to do, cost about £90 though I think. Or £70, it was while ago and I forget now
