ph1 fast road / track car

so once again i have a clio 172 ph1 in silver this car has been bought to be tracked, so anyway since picking it up around two weeks ago i have made this progress,

completly stripped the interior out including any unwanted speaker cables and rear wiper cables purley for tidyness not weight reduction.

how i got it

inside after i stripped it

so after removing all the interior i realised i had nowere for my alarm sensors sooooo:

also i wanted an interior light as i no longer had one due to stripping the head linner so once again thought of something to resolve it

two boot lights wired into the sides of the car (good idea if i dont say so myself)

then a few days past then i decided it was time to tackle the tar

couple more days and i obtained these

also decided the interior would look alot better in satin black

other bits and peaces ive done include putting all the cables in black flexi conduit removing all the cables that were in the center of the car i.e airbag module, the airbag module i moved to under the dash, there was enough space as ive also removed all the airbags. i also shortened all the airbag cables to keep mess to a minimum (i will be putting resistors in all of these).

todays work:

progress today was picking up 4 25mm spacers, ktec solid top mounts and also ktec coilovers.

small update had a small two inch pipe put on and a decat pics soon

thought id upload a few pics of the progress over the last week or so

first cam the decate and 2 inch tip

next came these

so these went in the bin

job done

so after some good progress i also decided to put a degree of camber on the back so running bout 2 degress now and then slapped camber on the front drives great, and now for the first repair thats needed after some light abuse ive developed a juddering on pull of and dropping gears i have a sneaking suspition my clutch is how does one put it fucked comes to mind lol so that and new brakes are up next, gonna be trying brembo max discs and omp fast road /track pads .

Some good progress mate. Do the wheel spacers offer anything other than looks?

^^ cheers , and as for the spacers cant say for sure but them and the camber set uptogether and its pretty much on rails at the mo lol

where did you get that exhaust done?? i wanted something very similar for my car when finished!! was it pipercraft??

so not much happening but my clutch is deffo a gonna so will be posting some pics of the clutch being fitted beggining of next week and the brakes are now on hold, also have plans to do inner and outer track rods (i think there shagged).
