PH1 Flamer.

  182, SQ7, Trafic
The gap should be the same as the front, looks ally high? Or are the tyres like a 45 profile?

45 profile tyres. Ill be running 50's on them once the tyres are dead.

He may be getting some springs soon. As your my guru Danny, i take it springs off a ph1 will fit a 182 with cup packs?

The rear wheel gap will be big as that wheel is on the drop down for the drive, the other 3 are on higher ground.

(i'm judging your on about the last pic where the 182 looks like a 4x4)

The springs will fit yes, red heights maybe a little bit different but not too bad.

45 tyres and the driveway are making it look high lol!

Place in bury will sand blast 4 wheels for £80

JE finishing I think their called, there on barton road industrial estate

Theres a blasting place next to my work, he wanted £80 to do Lewis's wheels, which i thought was steep. But i know nothing about blasting etc lol.

I may aswell give them to next door when the time comes then :)

:p

Your gonna need to primer the wheels, especially if being blasted.

I know. Although if they are only track wheels and you just rub them down well so fresh paint will stick well, a couple of top coats will be fine. Holds up for ages :)

Dan, blasting is time consuming, tedious and if not in a cabinet sooo messy so don't be too impatient! lol I spent a little while rubbing mine down and they come up good. So all mine stand me in is £15 per wheel and I removed all the curbing.

I still can't believe that BIGASH can get sand blasted and powdercoated for £15 per wheel, so cheap. Would this not be a better idea? I'll probably be doing this if BA wheels norwich are anymore than £30 per wheel. As it will cost £60 to send to him and get them sent back (+ little more for beer tokens for James helping a mate out) :)

Friday I saved a further 1.5kg from the car chopping out brackets and removing the last of the sound deadening.

Then today the plan was to pop to Rhys (Rhys Beal) house to collect his AST solid topmounts. I ended up leaving 7hours later lol.
Once there Rhy's suggested fitting them so we cracked on, saying that Rhys did most of it, whilst I watched lol.
We then continued to set the ride height of my car all round as it was at some pretty random and different heights.

Rhys's new track project and my car in his awsome garage.

Car feels alot more responsive on the turn in and a less twitchy in the road. Should handle really well once setup!
So thankyou very much Rhys for sorting it for me, top bloke :)
Excuse the pic quality, taken on my phone.

Good to see you got some solid top mounts, i think they make a massive difference to the way the car feels in the steering.

As I was leaving, the first time i properly turned in it made a massive difference. It just turned, also feels alot smoother on the road now.

Also does anyone have a ph1 twin barrel cat with 2 lamdba sensor holes they can measure like this? The sports cat works out at 28" need to know the difference in length.

I really need to finish painting those garage doors:eek:

Was a pleasure working on it Dan, and like I said let us know tomorrow about the pipe.

Cheers :) I had read that before, but wasn't 100% sure.

Going to try get my sports cat extended and an extra sensor hole welded on before it goes for the cams. Probably should of sorted it before like everyone kept telling me too lol.

Good man! I'd recomend Power and Performance in Norwich but that's a trek for you...

I could fit it, but between now and dropping my car off monday I will literally have no time.

Theyve qouted me £50 to fit and modify it, cost me £40 to buy it. No bad all in all!

That's a good price mate :) I'm really looking forward to seeing how it get's on at FMS once the cams are in and mapped, you going to get it on there rollers before Nurburgring?

Sports cat fitted and modified for £40. was well happy, checked it over all was good.
So i headed to Rhys's house, and the car got progressively lowder, and sounded so good.
Got there smiling ear to ear and Rhys and Scott agreed how good it sounded, at which point I noticed my back box hanging. So up on jacks it went.

Remember this? Which was welded up.

Well this time it was the back box that had crack, so I twisted the back box and with ease it came off. Fingers crossed i have a replacement stainless exhaust the same sorted.
Hopefully it works to plan as the car is due at 519 monday afternoon.

Oh and not forgetting a video, it sounds f**king awesome!! Just way to loud lol.
