Its not suprise a its gone, and i will admit it is pretty amusing. But the fact i need to replace the exhaust when im strapped for cash is what saddens me 
I was thinking if I did get pulled over i would simply say it fell off and is in my boot, just beside my catalytic converter lol.

Dropping gears in mine tonight was brilliant, was making a right racket and spluttering away.
The replacement for this is more than likely the same exhaust but stainless, so i can fit and forget for a while.

Me and my Dad had a look with a torch when i got in, as he was determined he could fix it. The exhaust is truly battered, I managed to poke another hole through it with my car keys.
Ill get proper pics at some point.

I could always just bend the pipe so it exits the side!!

On friday i think im going to fit my other bonnet pins to my boot, as when driving with the window down my boot bangs and shakes since i gutted it lol.

Bloody hell your exhaust has had it! Lol you'll be surprised how much lighter the stainless steel exhaust is compared to mild steel.... My Oreca was less than half the weight of the heavy k-tec mild steel one that came off.
Ill weight them both. Got a wedding at 3 tomorrow so ill remove it in the morning. Which wont take long
Its perfect now might try coming down 5mm to give it abit more nose down if the weathers good
As for coolant I checked before work with a torch. So 100% from the tray after changing the bottle.
Exhaust is on it's way. If it comes before 1pm I should be able to fit it

Exhaust turned up at 10.30 this morning. The stainless system seemed alot lighter too.

-Vibrating against the heat shield, so ill bend that at some point.
-5th gear isnt going in properly, it goes in but not as far as the other gears. Im presuming ive either knocked something or the gear linkage is catching on something like the second lamdba sensor. Ill try sort this also.
Then off to 519 monday for some cams

Well that does surprise me actually as they did me a silenced decat, admittedly I had alot of trouble with the crappy powerflow silencers that they use so they made me another one but won't be using them again tbh. You get what you pay for.
Dan did (excitedly) tell me that it was going into you to have the GT cams fitted, I am equally looking forward to the results Might tempt me to get some done along with some headwork at some point........

Whilst Ive been away for the week, i left the car at 519 for some much tlc and other goodies.
Had the following done, cambelt, aux belt, dephaser pulley, new sump gasket, ARP bolts, oil change, new lamdba sensor, full allignement, GT cams and mapping and probably other stuff.
Also had the sports cat sorted to it fitted properly, should of just taken it to 519 to start with, could of saved me a new sensor and a pile of cash, but you live and learn i guess lol.
The engine spec is now;
GT Cams
Mapped to 7.6k rev limit
Matched Inlets
Pipercross filter
Cup aircon setup
Ktec stainless stealth exhaust
Sports cat
ARP conrod bolts
Valvoline VR1 Oil 5w50
The car is running roughly 180bhp and 160lb of toque, it was last recorded at 162 and 140lb of toque in november. ( i know these figures dont mean anything as its two different rolling roads, but they give a rough idea!)
The biggest restriction to the car is the air intake, the standard wrinkley elbow isnt great. The new ktec induction was tested on my car whilst being mapped and saw gains of 7bhp, so thats what i need to look into next!
The car goes brilliantly now, it will go 70mph in 2nd and just over 100mph in third
Cant complain at all, big thanks to Dan at 519 for the work.

Good stuff very good torque! Speak to DannyR about that intake he made the same for a lot less than k-tec are selling them!
