Ph1 fuel pump (in & out) and ph2 fuel pump (out only)

Ok so my Jenveys have a nice shiney jenvey fuel rail with braided fuel line, but it's off my ph2 172 cup that has a fuel pump that only sends fuel out.

Where as the ph1 i'm fitting them in have a in & out pump that requires a return from the fuel rail as on the standard fuel rail.

My question is, would i be able to just swap the pump's over and just run it as i did in my ph2? Will it just be a case of plug and play?

Since the phase 1 will probably be a few years old and had a few miles and since its only good for about 260hp why not chnage the pump for a better one anyway?

nope, fuel pump connection is identical though (and it works, did the same thing to Wurzel's clio)

The fuel pump in this actual car ran 330bhp absolutely fine
