Ph1 gearknob ?

Hey guys id like to put a ph1 gear knob on my ph2 clio 172 . Can i just change the knob or do i have to change the whole gear stick assembly.

Reason for doing this id prefer a little bit more of a weighted shift as the ph2 gear knob feels far to light

i had mine fitted and they replaced the whole stick.

Hmm seems a bit of a mission for just a gear knob if im honest . Its not hard to change the lot anyways but isit really worth it lol .

i think one of the best mods i have done. hated the crappy 1.2 style gear knob on it. feel it should of come with it from factory like ph1 172's did.

where did you get it from?
bought my phase 1 with a phase 2 knob and want to put some things back to original spec

Whole stick including shroud needs to be changed

Yep from underneath too. Cat to centre section needs undoing, cat pulling down, heat shield removed, 4 bolts and 1 for the linkage.

Sounds easy...its a c**t.
