Took a punt on a ph1 172 non runner. Car turns over but makes no attempt to start. Immobiliser light on dash flashes consistently.
Suspected it was immobiliser or key (going by what the previous owner said and light on dash) so had an immobiliser delete to eliminate that. May have reinstalled later.
Eliminated crankshaft sensor - engine getting a signal.
Suspected a bad earth but did a pin out on ecu and all reading zero - am I right there are only 3 earths on the ecu?
Any help appreciated? Fair to say I'm a bit stumped!
