Ph1 steering column

The steering wheel in my ph1 has some play and I have narrowed it down to the steering column bearing, however upon looking for a replacement bearing or column I’ve realised it’s difficult to source a replacement. Can anyone point me in the right direction? Thanks in advance.

Thanks for the info! How easy are these to replace?

Its a been a while, but you may have to grind away tabs that stop the lower bearing from moving because the key lock mechanism wont fit through otherwise.

I wont be at my unit for a few days so cant help you right now Im afraid.

Edit: I think the column fits through the lower bearing. Found a picture of the shaft with bearings.

Thanks for all the info, how much do I need to remove in order to replace the bearing then?
