ph1 to ph2 steering wheel

i have a ph1 172 and bought a ph2 steering wheel not knowing that there will be a problem with the air bag, something to do with the wiring, is there anyway to make the air bag work or do i have to live without it. thanks

airbag connectors are not the same

ph1 got one

ph2 got two

get the airbag turned off for the driver.
You can configure the airbag computer so that it only looks for 1 airbag igniter rather than 2.
Need a CLIP system to do it.
