Ph2 172 running a ph1 cat

Is there any reason that my ph2 172 would have a ph1 cat as ive found out today lol. Its getting decated but intrests me as 2 y
 
Phase 1 cats are shorter if single lambda so I guess this is a twin lambda one.

People used to swap to them cos they flow better but I'd be surprised if it was a noticeable difference.
 
Only ad a quick look will see if its a twin lambda. Are the ph1 and ph2 manifolds the same. Ive never done a ph1 lol

I was told that the cells of a Ph1 were on par with a sports cat cell .
That's the only reason I see it's fitted , or because it was cheaper .
