to fit does it involve nay mods or do they jus fit straight on?

Be warned if you decide to change back, the Ph2 ones would of marked your paint as the edges vibrate against the bodywork.

As the ph1 strips are slightly smaller, this might stand out.

I no you can switch the rear ones but the bullet on the front stips dont fit... i could be wrong but all you can do is try

Mines a 2000(X) and has ph2 strips on, and yes they do mark the paint a little when you take them off.

James, not a dig - just a pet hate, try using the "Edit" feature instead of double posting a couple of mins after your first post in the thread.

Haz, I was thinking the same as you and I much prefer the Ph2 bullets and colour coded strips over the black Ph1 items.

Chrisjk, is the rubbing visible while they're on the car, and are there any gaps etc?

Can anyone confirm whether they are a straight swap or not? If not, what's needed to put them on?

Cheers,
Mike

Rear drivers side 77 01 052 476 SIDE EMELLISHER £14.42 ex vat

These are 172/182 items and come primered ready for painting.
Prices correct in 2004

However my little tip: Buy the normal ones for a non sport model and you can save ££'s although you will need to paint them.

Slide your strip off and if it looks like this underneath then they'll fit:

However, if it looks like this then they won't fit:

Mike- there is no visible rubbing when the trim is on the car, only when you remove it for cleaning etc
