ph2 steering wheel in ph1 ?

is this possible ? is it a straight swap or would i need anything to make it work ? either that or ill have to re-trim one of my ph1 wheels :/

Ph2 steering wheel has a dual stage airbag.

If the air bags that much of an issue to wire up (not saying it is) you could just not connect the air bag, and fit a resistor

hmm true, but may as well fit an aftermarket one if the airbags not wired up. hopefully ill find someone whos done it and has an idea with wiring it up

so apart from the electrics does it just screw straight on, no adapters needed?

No reason it shouldn't.

My reasoning behind this is i fitted an omp wheel boss from a ph2 on my ph1, so you would think they are the same mounting. I may be wrong haha

Just go aftermarket imo, the standard wheels are big and nasty.

i do want an aftermarket wheel but not having an airbag has been putting me off, maybe i should just man up

Rob on here has a full Ph2 interior in his Ph1, not sure if the electrics and the steering column are swapped over though?

I tried to fit a ph2 wheel in my friends ph1 however as mentioned above the airbags are different. I imagine you could wire them up but messing with airbags isn't ideal unless you know what your doing.
