Phase 1 steering rack bushes, SMI rack?

I want to upgrade the bushes on my phase 1 172, I've looked at the polybushes but they all seem to say 'smi rack only' how do i know which rack i have? the bushes seem to be only for a phase 2 ?

My Y reg phase 1 has a smi rack, just fitted the black series bushes.
There's a sticker on the rack that has the information on it, that's if you can read it!

As said above there is a sticker on the Rack.
I think a good 90% of the racks in the clios where SMI but its always best to double check.

I have a feeling that all RHD ones are SMI. But it's just a hunch!

That is a relief. This is something I was looking into changing on my car. On a previous car it made quite a difference.
