Phase 2 172 climate removal - what options do I have to retain a heater matrix?

I’m stripping the last items from my phase 2 172 track car and I’d like to ditch the climate and run a very basic matrix to heat the screen.

I’ve fitted a Cup blower which I’ll run off a switch as the loom wiring is different.

Can I run the stock matrix in a similar way and run it off a separate switch so I can ditch the climate panel and tidy the wiring?

Or could I fit a matrix from another model?
