Sorry to resurect this old chestnut. I've found the details of the 182 and phase 1 but not the phase 2 172.

What would be the optimum setup considering I have Apex -40's?

Why is that? I know very little about this subject so just curious.

Any figures mate so I can pass them onto the no doubt heavy handed gloit who will be checking the car. I've still yet to find anywhere in Leeds worth looking at.

mainly because a clio 172/182 is a high powered FWD car

imagine you have the front wheels perfectly aligned straight, what happens to the wheels when you accelerate?? (yes they turn, but what happens in term of toe angles???)

that'll get you thinking

They try to pull outwards so running slight negative toe counters this giving perfectly aligned wheels when you accelerate?

i've driven several clios with toe out, i hated them, but the owners liked it............until they came out in our car LOL

erm its kinda personal preference, i generally like 0'05 min toe in with a bit of camber thrown in also (3deg for example!)

Cheers Federico. Camber can't be adjusted without correction bolts though can it?
