Philips blue vision ultra 4000k

  Clio Billabong 1.2
Will these bulbs work in a Clio Billabong?

I've heard you need certain lamps for them?

Cheers

Ah right, I'm just wondering as I fitted some today, they both work fine, but there is no blue tint or white light at all.
They're pretty much exactly the same as the standard orange looking lights:S

"Xenon effect. Winner of the Best Buy award in the Auto Express Bulb Test! Delivers 30% more light and a styled blue tint. "

Strange.

Yeah I had some in my old car. They look slightly whiter than the old ones (but you won't notice any difference unless they're side by side) and at night, the road will look slightly whiter. The blue tint on the bulbs makes the light whiter, not blue. You won't get them looking like proper xenon hid lights.

You won't get the HID look without a HID setup , simple as that.

Philips Bluevision w5w sidelights are a bit rubbish but the H1 and H7 bulbs are nice.

I've just been out to check as it's darker now, and I can notice a difference.
I also gave them a quick soapy wipe and rinse.
I can notice that they're more shiny when off and a whiter light when on.
They still look good, I just wanted more of a blue tint like the real Xenons when on.

Cheers for everyone's help :)
