photo request: red phase 1 172

hey guys and gals,

bought my red ph1 172 a couple of wks ago and it came with these 17`s which i`m not keen on! i was wonderin if u cud post up some pics of ur ph1 172`s so i can hav an idea of wot sizes and designs look best! i dont mind if there not red but as many red 1s as possible wud be great

Is this the one with about 27k on the clock? It was for sale at my local dealer, but to be honest there was something extremely dodgy about its condition that didnt correspond with the mileage ie, a hole in the carpet which looked like it'd been worn over a period of time and the engine sounding as rough as fook. May be wrong however, but it did have those awful 17s on it

Yeah the vees were flame red both the mk1s and mk2s. The 172s were flame, Im buggered if I can tell the difference though.

sounds about rite middo thats mine with 27 on the clock but i wasnt as dubious as u evidently!

i understand ur dubiance but the gear nob has no scratches, the dash is perfect and the carpet looks pretty good, theres not a mark on the bodywork so if it has been clocked then they looked after it, as 4 the engine mine ticks over like a dream so perhaps it had been standin or me puttin vpower in has changed it

Cheers, I havnt clayed or pc'd it or anything just good old wash and wax, then a layer of autoglym polish and then autoglym sealer.

yep.

172's were Flame Red
V6's were Mars Red
Trophy's are Capsicum Red
Valver's came in Naples and another solid shade that i can't rememeber.

love the mk1 172's in flame red, they look awesome
