Photos on Macs

Do you guys store them straight to your folders or in to an app such as iPhoto? I've never been overly impressed by iPhoto but have used it sometimes, wondering what other possibilities are good to use.... thanks!

I use iPhoto, very easy and good to use IMO

I still haven't quite figured what to do yet ..sometimes i sync straight to folders, sometimes to iPhoto ..

I use iPhoto also. Its easy to use and organise then sync with iDevices to.

iPhoto is dreadful in comparison IMO.
