Probably doesn't help feeling like s**t and half a sleep but,

i'm saving an image for a web in photoshop, i'm trying to slice it and its not doing anything!??!

choose slice tool, blahhh, click and drsg, blaaah, nothing...no SLICE?!?!?

You didn't say you where using the 'save for web' option

was just making sure you where doing the right way.

slice it in what way? You can transport itto imageready, theres a botton on the bottom of the tool bar, imageready will allow you to slice.

I want to slice it into layers so i can cod ethe website but for some reason photoshop is not letting me slice it.

Usually i'd design one, then go to "File>Save For Web" then from there i would slice it how i wanted...when i grab slice tool and select an area, nothing happens

Is the image in CMYK or something?

Image/ Mode/ RGB Color and it should work...
