Photoshop Lasso tool help

Lasso tool im trying tm make a series of small clicks rather than doing a long line just so i can get the outline perfect but it wont let me do lots of little ones i am using the left click but all it lets me do it long ones,


any help guys ?

Hold the Alt key down.

I think it's alt. If not use ctrl, it's automatic for me when I do it, so never sure which key I use lol.

Select the Polygonal Lasso Tool, or hold down Alt, does the same thing.

yeh i got it i was not using right click when selecting the tool so it was auto going to the magnetic one...

Indeed - the other tools may as well just be removed !

pen tool for sure, makes life much easier!

Lasso tool is unforgiving if you mess up - Pen tool is much better and more control and can tweak your selection.

Lasso tool, if you make a mistake, press deleted ad it will take you back click by click. Zoom right in on the image to get a better outline.
