Anyone recommend a sequence of filters / effects to apply to a photograph in order to create a kinda stylised pop art effect?

Thinking of making a print for the flat.

preferably the number plate will still be legible... vulgar - yes!

Using a combination threshold and um, colour halftone (I think that's what it's called - at work at the moment so can't check) usually works quite well. The halftone thing should look a bit like newspaper print.

Just layer things up - I'll have a go at it this evening if I get a minute!

cheers will have a play about with that, my photoshop use is generally just to make a background transparent so may have to get to grips with layers a bit better
