Photoshop Tutorial Please!

Car  LOTS!
Can somebody tell me how I'd graduate one colour to another up a design? I'm using PS CS2 on PC.

I'd be very grateful as I'm a complete amateur! :o It's for a tattoo design I'm putting together so I need to get it right.

Create a new layer, then chose the colours you want in the foreground/background boxes. On the paint bucket tool, hold the left mouse button down and select gradient, then chose the one you want on the top toolbar, and drag a line from one end to the other.

Should work.
