indeed sachs ftw but slammed also ftw... iv looked on ct and havn't seen anything... when lowering alot of them refer handling being effected due to the car being made with such precision...a trophy slammed imo would be p**n though

Yeh, must be the £2,000 suspension which comes on them as standard with profiled springs and absorption rates.

Shocks are around £1250 each from renault...

MF springs drop it by 15mm front and rear

Nope, as above about £1250 per front shock. The rears are basically the same as 182cup. Be mad to mess with the set-up, it's perfection for me, even decent coillovers don't come close IMO.

They were designed from day one to be easily re-furbed, they only made limited numbers, so getting them isn't easy.

It was lowered, that looks 10 times lower at the back than a standard one!

agreed, that trophy looks sweet. it does seem silly messing with an awesome suspension setup.... but they'd look so good slammed on a set of coillies!

Mark fish said he'd lowered about 5 IIRC, some up to 30mm. They are a tad high as stardard.

The main problem i can see with lowering one is that you will reduce the suspension travel. Not a good thing at all!! If it runs out of travel then you can say a big hello to understeer

I'd slam one no problem. Leave the standard stuff wrapped up cosy in the loft, while the car got a beating with some AST's or something. I'd be the most hated Trophy owner ever

If you want a slammed clio then don't buy a trophy imo. It would make it worse as apposed to better.
