I have one and it passed the MOT without a problem, looks better than standard but at the end of the day its just a number plate light This is the best pic I have im afraid :/

All white LED's always seem to look very slightly blue but I dont think the camera helps also.

I got the bulb in a group buy off here mate, you should be able to find one easy enough.

Agreed.

Changing bulbs is such a cheap mod but improves the looks vastly imo.

I've got one. Really bad to photograph as it just seems blue! Looks really good IMO, cleans it up alot. Cheap and easy mod, has to be done

The LED bulb I got only lasted a couple of weeks before they started flickering, sent it back for a replacement and it's done the same again. Gave up and just bought a normal bulb for it now.

I've got the led's... got them from the group buy yonks ago.

Had them in the 1.2 and the 182 with no problems.

Yes.

Get your arm under the bumper and push the housing out > unclip the cover > remove the bulb > bend the connectors a touch to hold the bulb more securely > put new bulb in

You need to bend the connectors so it holds the bulbs better... people who have the problem with the flashing probably didnt do this.

Its quite obvious when your in there tbh. Also had mine in there for a year and a half with no problems

No, as i thought.

Bend both of the connectors... there is one on the side and one on the bottom.

Give the housing a bit of a shake after to check they will be okay

there are 2 differnt wireing systems, (connecting to the no,light)

one is old one is newer but you cannot tell what one is what

if you have the older loom, (not very common) the led no.plate starts to flash after 3-4 weeks. max.

the no.plates bulbs i sell either way come with a 1 year no questions garentee, if it does this ill swap it,


either way you can get around it


there £4.99 for a single one and at the moment money is going towards to comic relief clio sport campainge so even more reson to buy

How did you find out about the different looms? Guess I'll stick to normal bulbs if it means switching bulbs every month!

you never know, found out after reading through and contacting about 6 dealerships and taking a few clios apart,

thats why i offer a direct replacment or money back, so you can make your car look lush for a few months, then get your money back if needs be

Mine arrived today but they were the wrong size.

For some reason my number plate light bulbs are the same as the side light ones. Not the Feston whatever there name is !

Aye Bio Hzrds are festons mate must be the newer Mk3s that have the the 501's.
