Back to standard is the way forward mate.

my thoughts exactly! cups are best left alone apart from coilovers, turini's or oz wheels, silvervisions, badge coding and possibly an exhaust

Put it back to standard. I don't know why people think it's there duty to mess with the styling of the Cup. They got it spot on, you don't know better, accept it!
