First car love:
mk2 golf, 1.3, 4 gears, something broke every week
taught me everything pretty much every thing i needed to know about cars, great learning experience
genuinely was the best handling car i've owned. goosebumps thinking about it

of course the golf just now is fantastic, will be a very sad day when it goes
its just so good all round, wasn't 100% sure about it to start with, it had bits i wasn't happy with but i now appreciate just how well they work and exactly why they are like that lol, the traction control being one of them

My current civic has to be my best car to date.Ive had it for 3 years in march and its never set a foot wrong ever. All ive done is put a set of discs and pads on it and a set of tyres. Its a daily hack and gets very dirty. It returns 32mpg round town and still looks a good car.The boot is huge and easily takes my 8 stone ridgeback or a quinny buggy lying flat down, its a great all rounder...

Has to be this. Miss is so much. Was just amazing in every way in my opinion. Loved the heavy gears and how it was effortless and just perfect. Was probably the colour that did it for me

I would love a mint rs turbo, thats suberb mate, pm me if you ever think of selling up.

There is more chance of your 6 euro millions numbers coming up.

This will never be sold and hopefully go to my kids one day

My old 172 from Australia. Clios are rare over there so this car got truly pampered.

The current clio gets a lot more use and abuse.

As an all rounder the Trophy surpasses everything...Mainly because it can go to Tesco, transport half mysh*t across England, commute 100 miles a day and still do this...

For pure outright wow factor, the VXT made me feel like a kid every time I pressed the starter button. For the times it worked, on sunny days, it was immense. Particular highlights include the child that asked his mum if I was batman, and the old chap at the petrol station who stopped to talk randomly for 10 minutes within 10 minutes of me buying it from Dan. Never failed to make people smile wherever it went...

My old GT

had it from 2006-2012 and loved it. TD04 Turbo and forged internals running at 1.1 bar. I miss it so much

I love how every thread like this on CS turns from post 'a' pic of you favourite car to post multiple pics of every car you've owned.

My Ph-1 was my favourite car overall. Really strong engine and it's ability to mix it up on track with big boys made it an absolute winner for me.

My current car, aesthetically it's by far the best car I;ve owned but it's still got a fair way to go to match the ph-1 for pure driving fun.

Lol, what was you wanting? More than it was up for?

£2300, which was a fair price for both parties. I think even if 3k was offered I would have turnt ot down, purely because it's a good true car and there is nothing in that price range as fast, as modern etc. i only paid 1800 aswell!

What?

So you put it up for £2300, but you wouldnt even let it go for £3000?

What if some poor sod had travelled with 500 miles with the asking price?

Mr current car. No plans to change (I'd rather scratch an itch by destroying my life and buying a second car)

Great handling, fast, good looking, reliable, fun, good on fuel, good space inside, comfortable. Basically the best all-rounder.

My first MX5

Absolute heap of rust, leaked, s**t tyres... But my god was it awesome fun! Drove the nuts off it and it just felt indestructible. Shame it ended up eventually being destroyed. Lol.
My next MX5's were never quite the same. :(

Silver Wheels?

;)

Love this car. Absolutely hate getting in my little 4 pot now 200hp just seems like nothing now. Do miss the checkable handling of the hatch, but this is more rewarding to drive quickly...mainly because if you f**k up you tend to be going rather quickly and there are is nothing safety wise to help you. The traction control actually ends up getting in the way.

I'm going to choose the same car. Owned it twice, don't think I'll ever sell it again. If i do - Gaz will be having it back. For me, no other 1*2 comes close. It's perfect.
