Pictures of my new prospeed exhaust and carbon fibre bonnet :)

  172 gone :( 197 now :)
Ok i spent far too much money my car the other weekend, i had a custom exhaust fitted by prospeed in cardiff on saturday and fitted a carbon fibre bonnet from ktec on sunday!
Got rid of my shitty magnex and got a proper pro-speed exhaust its F-ing wicked! Sounds lovely, looks factory fit, and looking underneath the car it looks extremely well built and it just doesnt budge at all if you try to move it round!

Here's the old exhaust pics in this link :

Looks sorted bud,i want the carbon bonnet too,how much lighter is it? Also how difficult was the relocation of the washers?

The bonnet is obviously lighter but dont know by how much. Your talking 2 kilos perhaps. I dunno? Its a bugger to fit though! Hard to get lined up firstly, then a nightmare to get the latch positioned correctly. It would either not click in, or close and not open again! I had to drill bigger holes in the plate for the latch put washers behind it to get it to stick out more then just adjust it a mm each way till i got it right. A few times the bonnet was totally stuck down and i couldn't open the b*tch at all.

The washer jets are very easy to relocate just pull the tubing off the plastic t-piece under your bonnet attatch some tubing to extend it. Work out where you want the new jets to go unclip the plastic panels at bottom of the windscreen, mark the positioning, drill a hole in the plastic stick the new jet through the hole and attatch tubing which will run underneath the plastic panels when you clip them all back on. Then its just a case of adjusting the jet angles with a pin till they squirting where you want them to go.

I think it would be a lot more than 2 kilo's mate, but i could be wrong...

Car looks very sweet though.
