Here for sale is a Sierra Cosworth that has been modified to use for track or classic racing, but has been kept road legal for the odd Sunday drive.
The car is in outstanding condition for a 25 year old car, and has had so much work done to it you would easily be mistaken for driving 1988 Touring car on the road, and that brings a smile to my face, and the passengers everytime I drive it, but thats exactly why its for sale I just dont get the chance to use it anymore with two young children it just sits in the garage and I would rather someone owned it who was going to use it.
Im not going to do a great big boring list of everything this car has had done to it as we will get bored of reading. So I will just mention the important stuff and genuine buyers will obviously want to know more on inspection which I must say your not going to be disappointed once viewed, but that's not an invitation for tyre kickers and joyriders as no one will be driving this car due to it being SORN off the road, but I will be happy to prove everything works on a private road as the car has just passed its MOT and has a full year for you to enjoy.
Right lets get the bad bits out of the way first. This car really could do with a better diff, I have two diffs with the car and its eaten them both so what I have now is one diff fitted to the car which is the best of the two diffs put together with all brand new bearings ect built by a professional gearbox specialist to make one good diff, and a box of spares, although this is slightly noisy due to a lower gear ratio which gives much better acceloration. But you are welcome to take the other bits as spares for the car. The oil temprature gauge stopped working a while ago but the car is fitted with a secs monitor so its not a problem as this will flash if there is any problems at all. The only rust on the car has been delt with, which was a patch under the drivers foot and a small plate has been welded in place, again im happy to point this out on inspection.
The underside of the car was compleatly stripped down about 5 years ago and everything was either powdercoated, painted, replaced or repared, so as you can see from the photos this is still in very good condition, The Avo coilover suspension has just been rebuilt by Avo as one of the rear shocks was leaking. The car is fitted with massive AP brakes and these are phenominal.
The head gasket was done about 2-3 years ago and when the head was off i was delighted to find the engine has been fully rebult with high quality forge pocketed pistons and the the bottom end is very strong. At this time the head was sent away for pressure testing where it was found that some of the valves were in need of replacment, so the head was compleatly rebult and other than the occasional oil leak normally from the rockercover which has just been done again is very dry.
The car has been on the cover of Fast Ford and appeared in the magazine several times, and was even the choice for an insurance company promoting there company. I use Hagerty classic car insurance and this cost me approximatly £200 per year with all mods declared including the cage and brakes with 3000 miles a year.
The car has been weighed at 1180kg without driver and is currently producing 360BHP on green injectors and a T34 turbo which is more than plenty and keeps the car reliable and drivable.
I have tried to be as honest as I can about the car and welcome any veiwing arranged with myself, but please as i've said already i don't have the time to drive this car so I certainly don't have time to be messed about by dreamers and joyriders please please please genuine buyers only.

needs a bit of work on the driveshafts, but always room for a chat on that

stumbled into the RS Cosworth section of Pheads...my word....

only the exhaust looks a bit dodgy, but think this is standard on the sierras...
