can anyone recomend me a higher poundage spring for my kw coilovers, and what weight? i have kw v1s on my budget **** but they seem a little soft, its either change the springs or sell the whole lot and get something else, tho i dont like spending money atall. cheers in advance

Eibach ERS race springs. Not the cheapest but they are brilliant. I find you can go stiff but with the same ride as cheaper and softer springs.

that makes sense then, got worried for a minute there.

so, firmer springs and bump rubbers then I guess?

I'd say the damping was what needed looking at more than the springs. They bottomed out when I drove it. I've just put nice new coilovers on the rsi and I'm in love with the car again after hating my old avos for a year.

that was on a country road where you were trying to ditch it lol never had that problem myself tho i never drive it that fast unless its on flat tarmac

you forget I've driven a lot of cars down that road over the last 10 years or more ;) , your damping was not right. Admitedly it was an extreme way to test it, but it just made highlighting a weakness easier.

ive got a few bits coming to give me some adjustability, massive top mounts ment for a vauxhall, ill have a huge amount of adjustability there, going to need some chassis mods to fit them but should be worth it in the long run, also some adjustable rear shocks so i can firm up the rear a little, after thats on ill get a rear arb ordered, no massive rush at the mo as the cars on axle stands while i slowly lift the engine and box out for a box change. plan is to get it handling right and have some fun this summer then around sept/oct strip the engine down and rebuild it all for some more ponies
