Out of curiosity what are people that own mk2 172s getting mpg wise ???

Im getting 42mpg out of mine cruising at 70 on the motorway. A £10er gets me 80 miles. In my opinion thats pretty good ??

at 4 quid a gallon shouldnt a tenner get you over 1 00 miles?? if youre only getting 80 then your trip comp is wrong!

My Clio costs me 90.0 p per litre.

It costs me £34 to fill it from empty - 40 litres near enough.

I get about 300-320 miles per tank NORMALLY.

What doe that work out to?

yes if your only getting 40 litres you have 10 litres left its a 50 litre tank

so thats 34 mpg as its 8.8 gallons you use to do 300
