pipercross dirt retention spray

Got this from KTEC when they fitted my pipercross air filter whilst i was down getting some service work down.

How do I apply use it? just spray onto air filter?

clean the filter first with the cleaning spray and luke warm water. Let it dry. Re-Spray the dirt retentive additive - let it dry, and Roberts your fathers brother.

Didnt get any cleaning spray. Will have to order some. Do i just unbolt it, spray the clean spray on and wipe with some warm water yeah?
