are these airfilters any good, i want to get one but not sure if its worth it :S .
Should i just save for a viper.

as far as 172 air filters go:
The best is an ITG maxogen (nearly £400)
Next down is a BMC CDA (much better than a viper)
After that, i'd just settle for a quality standard filter in your airbox
