just rung toomey renault where i baught the car from!

i need a new clutch so i asked him for a quote!

£81.76 for the part n £786.47 for labour!

is this right?

im sooooo pissed off with renault i wana drive the car back n throw the keys at him n walk home!

Thats not a bad hourly rate then, try another dealer or better still take it to an independent dealer

I wouldn't go to Toomey again, had my 36K service there and the car came back with less bits on it than when it went in!!! Can't imagine what they'd lose doing a clutch!!! Isn't BB in Essex??

7 hours (I think thats about quoted time) at £80 an hour £560.

The clutch specialists can do it much cheaper usually and are better abale to do it. Just make sure you use a proer Renault clutch idealy buy it yourself. And change the oil for some decinet stuff.
