will regular spray paint be ok on the plastic parts of the engine eg, cover and caps etc, if why and wot shud i use instead,
and is it true engines perform better cold?
thnx
Okay well your going to need some heat resitant paint otherwise it wont be any good when the engine heats up, and yes the more cold air you get into your engine the better it will run.
cheers much ppl, still need the paint sit. resolved i have used normal spray paint
i dont think the oil filler cap or coolant over flow heat up but the plastic cover for the engine does but i dont think it will heat enough to cause a problem
yeah... will do i shud be puttin the stuff back on tomoro also gonna replace all the hosing which is blk with light blue hoses to match paint and engine but it could be weeks before i do tht. also gonna coat induction pipe with foil to reflect heat. seen as tho i was right about the cold thing lol. thought about gettin some calliper paint for the front callipers and the rear drums to match probs same clour as the hosing light-ish blue....
