Play in Steering (Valver)

Need my steering rack welded up me thinks! Have a bit of play in it.

When i had it done last time someone provided a pic of where to weld. I have dug out the old post but the pics have now expired. anyone have them?

it is easier to just put a new rack in, its what i did, didnt take long.

No such thing as bodged....theyre temporary repairs!

not too happy about having welds on a major component like that tbh.

Are you sure tom as it had a williams column fitted, mined you that was 2 years ago but still shouldnt have gone yet?

100% positive mate. Took it to Renatec earlier and they confirmed it for me.

It has about an inch each way before moving the wheels. Same as my old 16v till it was re welded.
