i own a 182 and i have noticed that when she is cold and i pull off in 2nd or 3rd and ease off the exhaust makes a popping sound when she starts to warm up after about a mile or so it stops???????? please help. thank you all.

Yep, same here. Just keep the revs low till it warms up and it doesn't happen.
