PLEASE HELP.. Ball joints

Hi people ive got a Clio sport 197 glacier white. My 2 front bottom end ball joints have gone and the front spring. When I'm driving the car is just so rocky. Ive had the mot and i have had a quote to get 2 ball joints with hub carriers for £215 each minus the vat. Will i need the hub carriers as i have tried phoning certain garages up and they don't know how easy the ball joints are to fit as they will not know if there easy to knock in and out or something. Need help asap otherwise this lad is guna order tha parts for me and labour costs will be in excess of £1k. Many thanks guys

I'm no expert on 197s I'm afraid but lower ball joints in a common problem and from memory very difficult to change without changing the hub carriers. Have a search on here and the 197 forum
