Please help my 8v rsi

Hi, new to the Forum which looks good!!!

Please can anyone help with a problem i've got with my RSI 8v.

I've got a water leak from the oil filter sandwich plate; it might be the same as other mark two clio's but its the one with the coolant flowing through it. One of the metal water pipes has cracked right at the base and is leaking.

No matter how far I push on the rubber pipe or how much I try and seal it with the jubille clip it just keeps on leaking.

Can you still get these plates, can they be repaired?

Do any other models share these funny coolant plates?

Any help would be much appreciated so i can get her back on the road.

Hi Dave,

I have got a simliar but different problem

One of the metal pipes that carries the water to the housing has corroded and now leaks!

I asked a local place and they cant get one for 3 weeks!!! Gurrrrr

think the deisal model had one as well. Bet the valvers do as well but cant remember.
