please help some one quick:(

i have turned my laptop on this morning to find it wont find my built it wireless network card. i have tryed system restore. PC restore and nothing.. i really need ot have this working by tonight
anyone have any suggestions

the laptop is like 1 week over the worrenty sods bloody law!!

its a compaq presario v6000

You haven't caught the wireless switch on the front have you?

(Might be a silly suggestion but one of my colleagues got caught out by it once)

lol no dude, i have just took the laptop to bits took out the wireless card, turned it on, then put the card back in and no luck ... it was working fine last night...

tried uninstalling the drivers for it then rebooting windows to see if it finds it again?

If all else fails pop to the shops and buy a pc-card or usb adaptor for it?

lol its the only thing i thought about doing.. do you know if you can over ride the switch on the front?

ok this is strange just sat talking on msn.. and my wireless card starts installing again and is now working again :S.. that is quite wierd... i didnt even do anything
