Please Help

Sorry about asking mundane questions, but don't know what oil to put in my 197. Spoke to my local dealer and he reckons 10/40 semi synthetic. But Renault UK told me that normal 5/40 non synthetic is the stuff.
I was thinking that fully synth was the way to go. Can anybody tell me what the right oil is?!!!

Either doesn't matter realy. 10-40 potects down to -20 vs -25 for the 5-40 stuff so help potect the engine when cold more.

I'd go for 5-40 fully synthetic realy.

Fully synthetic is better oil though but so long as it reaches the minimum standard set by Renault then its fine. Hence why Renault dealers use other stuff.
