Plenum Cleaning

was abit torn where to put this so if its in the wrong thread please move accordingly - ive just recently sprayed my engine cover got it how i want it etc but was thinking of buffing up the plenum is there any tips or tricks on how to do this ive noticed a few people on here have it damn near mirror polished

You can polish or paint it...

For polishing you need to wet sand the surface to a smooth finish then use a polishing machine to get the mirror finish.

Paint it it looks better imo.

Having attempted to polish mine I would offer the following advise.


Paint it.

Unless you get it done by a pro it will take you hours and hours to get a mediocre finish.
