Plenum removal

Don

I am aware that the bolts are all 10mm to remove the plenum. I'm looking to get something done to mine, and because of this I need to remove it...the main thing is that I need to be able to put it back together again.

Is there anything I need to consider/look out for when taking it apart or putting it back together???

Any help gladly appreciated. :)

yep as rich said you will probably need to replace the gasket

if you are careful then you can get away with reusing the old one, but replacing it is the ideal thing to do

Thanks for the info so far guys...

Sorry, I'm a bit dense/new with regards to all this engine stuff...only just realised how easy it was to remove the fuel rail guard to get the work done on it...and want to get the plenum done also so it looks the same.

How much are the gaskets and O ring seals (approx)...and how easy to replace???

another one jumping on the polished bandwagon? ;)

No, got it blasted...and am spraying with an aluminium look finish...don't wanna polish it, as too damn hard to do and keep looking good...I'm not anal about my engine bay, just fancy tidying it up a little. :)
