plug gaps on a 172

They shouldn't need to be adjusted or chnaged. There good for 72k.
Be careful fiddling though there £20 each from Renault and there about your only choice.
I think there preset though.

well you obviously dont know what your doing then, not trying to be funny as if you used to be a mechanic then im sure you could teach me a lot, but, you do NOT set the gap on platinum/iridium plugs, they are pre set and should never be touched, you can damage them by doing that...

also the gap shouldnt be 0.7mm, it should be 1.0mm IIRC for NGKs

the Champion version uses a 0.8mm gap

auto data says differntly, and she pulls like a train now, so no harm has been done.

and i dont really think you are in the position to even critisise me. you do not know the work i have done, as do i not know your work.

i have fitted a vtec engine in a mini at 15, rebuilt a f7p engine a 14, so im sure i know what im doing when it comes to engines.

your saying they are preset, so therefore you are saying that either they dont wear, or they autopmatically reduce the gap as they wear, both im sure you and i know isnt possible.
